PuppyFat Founder Mike White is a speaker at this year’s Petcare Innovation Summit.
Petcare Innovation Summit 2022 is a two-day celebration of the thriving European pet care market, crammed with one-to-one networking opportunities, roundtables and interactive panel sessions.
Mike will join Sam Worthy, CEO and Founder of Tailwise in a panel discussion on Bringing Pet Acquisition into the 21st Century:
“We’re going to be talking about this often-overlooked area of the pet market and how we can innovate to meet consumer needs whilst bringing down post-Covid pet abandonment and improving pet adoption rates. Whilst acquisition is an important part of pet care, PuppyFat focuses on the often-unsung heroes of the industry – responsible breeders. We exclusively focus on supporting and elevating responsible breeders, understanding the fundamental role they play in pet health, ” Mike explains.
“Breeders are the linchpins of the pet world but have been ignored by pet tech for too long. My aim from the summit is to fly the flag for responsible breeders, explaining to the pet care businesses worldwide about breeders’ needs and how focusing on their needs will make the biggest impact on pet healthcare in the coming decades.”
This year’s event is the fourth annual European pet care summit and brings together some of the most influential leaders in the industry, including Purina PetCare Europe, Mars Petcare, Zoetis, the Pet Food Manufacturers Association and Digitalis Ventures.
“I’m particularly looking forward to hearing from Fabien Desiage (Purina PetCare Europe) and Kim Bill (Purina Accelerator Lab) and their day two discussion on Driving the Future of Petcare Through Disruptive Innovation,” he adds.
“We worked with Purina during their 2021 Unleashed Accelerator programme and the team has given us an incredible springboard to help us improve our app and offering to our customers.”
The Petcare Innovation Summit takes place on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 May 2022 at etc. venues County Hall in London.
